ABOUT THE SITE

 

 

The initial idea behind this Inspirations site was to have a place where I could preserve my travel memories in digital format for years to come. I have had the good fortune of having traveled to and lived in many different cities around the world and this has provided me the chance to collect so many memories in the form of pictures that I have taken over the years. Once I started becoming more actively engaged with climate-change-related efforts, I decided to change the format of this website to serve not just as a vehicle for chronicling my travels and sharing with you my experiences, but to highlight ways to do sustainable travelling without harming natural and cultural environments. It can be said that this website is a travel/photography blog site with emphasis on sustainability.

​As you navigate this site, you will notice the following sections:

​

• The Blog page contains posts organized in different categories: Travel Guides where I will highlight tips on sustainable traveling, the Environment & Climate Change, where I will post the latest and most interesting news about climate change and technological advances made to combat its effects, and Self-reflections which is a more intimate section of this site about some of my personal experiences.

• ​The Photo Albums page is where I have created albums of some the photos I have taken during my travels. Each album is a collection of photos taken on a specific subject or place.

• A highlight of some of my photographic work appears on the Portfolio page, also included in the Photo Albums page.

• Finally, I have made a sampling of my most favorite pictures available for sale. Should you wish to own a copy and support my efforts, please proceed to the Store page. A portion of the proceeds of each photo sale will be donated to sustainability efforts in the San Francisco, Bay Area communities.
